Nacoa’s annual Awards Evening takes place at our Bristol office at 6.30pm on Friday 12 June when we celebrate the work of our amazing volunteers and supporters. This is a lovely opportunity to thank each and every one of them for their compassion and dedication to providing help and support over the last 25 years for everyone affected by a parent’s problems with alcohol.
Our guest speaker is Jeremy Irvine, lone Channel swimmer extraordinaire who completed his epic swim to raise funds for Nacoa because ‘Children shouldn’t feel lonely and unloved’. Jeremy, who battled alcohol himself, chose Nacoa to benefit from the £10,000 raised because we provide a friendly ear, confidential support and hope to children of all ages.
Our second guest speaker, the former Lord Mayor of Bristol, Peter Main will represent The Lord Mayor and we look forward to welcoming them both Jeremy and Peter to Nacoa.
Following the awards ceremony, there will be a sumptuous buffet and a welcome opportunity to enjoy each other’s company in our new home.
