Nacoa: School Visit Nomination Form
Thank you for nominating your school for a Nacoa schools care programme. Our scheme dedicated to providing schools support for children affected by a parent’s drinking.
This form allows you to nominate your local school to receive our wraparound care package. Please fill in all of the details below, including what start you may have made establishing a link with the school.
Nacoa is a small and entirely community funded charity, so please be aware that we only have a limited number of visits we can manage each year. Each application will be weighed up based on your own input as a Nacoa volunteer or supporter, as well as general availability and capacity.
What does Nacoa offer to schools?
For a successfully nominated school, Nacoa can provide:
- In person assembly or class presentations, catered to audience age or requirements
- Online teacher training
- Lesson plan handover
- Ongoing support through the Nacoa Helpline

The chance of successfully engaging the school with our support is much stronger if contact has already been established by you. Please where possible find a responsive contact rather than a generic email address.

How much does it cost?
In most instances, a year’s support is provided for free of charge. Though the number of schools we can support in a year depends on donations and funding from the wider community.
If you would like to fund your own school visit (typically £500), or fund the schools campaign more widely, please get in touch.
