Coping techniques
I find that my Mum’s condition is not only worrying me an awful lot, but it is also casting a depressing shadow over other elements of my life e.g. my job, my relationship and my friendships. I am feeling generally less positive and optimistic, while problems are feeling much more significant and worrying than they otherwise would. Any suggestions / tips on how to deal with this?

I'm so sorry to hear about the problems that you are facing. Remember that you are not alone and you did not cause your parents' drinking. Please try and take time out for yourself each day, watching a TV programme, reading a book or going for a walk.
