Dr Piers Henriques, Head of Communications
Piers was born into Nacoa, being the son of the charity’s CEO and founder Hilary Henriques MBE. Over the years, his role within the charity has grown. Notably taking over communications responsibilities around 2014, tasked with developed Nacoa’s branding and outreach. On a day to day basis, he manages Nacoa’s social media content, policy advocacy and media engagement. He is also represents Nacoa and Nacoa callers in parliamentary and other affiliated groups.
Piers also teaches English at Cambridge University in his role as College Tutor, where he also completed a PhD in the subject in 2020. He specialises in nineteenth and twentieth century literature and music.
