There’s freedom in speaking up and working through this.
Suffering with own addiction
This story I would say is a story of hope. One that I want to share to show to people.
I was in the selfish bubble of: “I need to drink. I need to drink.”
My head works in overdrive to put together pieces of a missing puzzle.
I struggle to be carefree, but I am more accepting.
We are fighting to get back to normal. It is heroic.
I kept a journal, it was like having a personal therapist
‘We can get better.’
In time we lose the shame we felt about our previous ways
You would think after seeing someone you love turn into someone else that I wouldn’t do the same!
