PwC’s 2025 Panto Raises Funds and Awareness for Nacoa
The 2025 PwC Pantomime, The Little Mermaid, has wrapped up its successful run at London’s Peacock Theatre, raising both funds and vital awareness for Nacoa (National Association for Children of Alcoholics). With an estimated 7,000 attendees, including families and education professionals, the production has brought much-needed attention to one of the UK’s most hidden issues.
A partnership that brings happiness and awareness
The PwC Pantomime aims to inspire a love of the performing arts in children by providing the opportunity to see a professional theatrical production. Each year, PwC gives away around 8,000 tickets to disadvantaged children from inner-city schools, charities, and community groups, alongside providing free transportation and snacks, thanks to their generous sponsors. Special performances are also made accessible for hearing and visually impaired children.
This year, PwC is particularly proud to partner with Nacoa, marking the 38th annual PwC Pantomime. Nacoa provides crucial support to children impacted by a parent’s alcohol dependency—an often-overlooked issue that affects approximately 2.6 million children across the UK. By choosing Nacoa, PwC is helping to shed light on the challenges these children face, while raising funds to ensure Nacoa’s vital services continue.
The Power of PwC’s Community Engagement
Each year, around 250 PwC staff and alumni dedicate their time and talent to creating the pantomime, taking on roles in everything from scriptwriting and costume design to acting and performing in the band. The PwC Pantomime is an important part of their community affairs programme in the UK. Supported by the PwC Management Board and the fundraising efforts of the production team. Their extraordinary team effort demonstrates PwC’s commitment to making a positive impact not only through entertainment but by supporting causes that matter.
The Show Continues in Birmingham
After its successful run in London, The Little Mermaid will now head to Birmingham!Tthe show will be performed at The Alexandra Theatre from 6th to 8th February, bringing the magic of the production to a whole new audience. It’s another opportunity for PwC to continue raising awareness of Nacoa’s vital work and engage even more families and communities.

Raising Awareness for Nacoa
Through this year’s pantomime, PwC has helped raise awareness of Nacoa’s work, which supports children nationwide. Nacoa provides bespoke training for professionals who work with families affected by alcoholism, ensuring that children in need get the help and understanding they deserve. By partnering with Nacoa, PwC has given the organisation a powerful platform to reach more people. And crucially highlight the often-silent struggles of children living with a parent’s addiction.
What’s Next for Nacoa?
The funds raised through this partnership will ensure more children and families have access to the support they need. But beyond the financial support, the awareness raised through The Little Mermaid will help break the stigma surrounding parental alcohol problems, allowing more children to seek help and know they are not alone.
