Join us for a special Members Social+ focused on education, where we’ll explore how schools, colleges and universities can better support children affected by parental alcohol misuse. For this month’s Members Social, we’re joined by three incredible guests:
Simon Wright
A Nacoa volunteer speaker and school governor, Simon brings a personal and practical perspective on supporting children affected by parental alcohol misuse within the school system.
Hollie Rankin
An experienced counsellor, author and safeguarding lead specialising in supporting COAs in education, Hollie shares her expertise in identifying and responding to the needs of affected children.
Jennifer Haywood
A university student support leader and researcher, Jennifer’s work explores growth and resilience in Adult Children of Alcoholics, offering insight into supporting students beyond school age.
The session will also showcase our schools outreach programme, provide opportunities to connect with others, and highlight ways members can get involved in raising awareness and improving outcomes for children and young people.
