For the past 15 years, I have been involved with various children and young people’s charities. These include the NSPCC, Children In Need, Claire House Hospice and teenage suicide awareness foundations in Merseyside.
My passion and commitment to such charities stems from my firm belief that:
“Its easier to build stronger children than to repair broken adults”
I’ve had the privilege of teaching martial arts to numerous children and young adults, helping them build confidence, instil discipline, and shape their characters. Witnessing shy youngsters transform into confident and successful individuals brings me a massive sense of achievement.

Heart-wrenching experiences
My career has exposed me to the challenging journeys many young people face. That includes heart-wrenching experiences of having many young people close to me lose their lives to suicide and battle with mental health and life-threatening illnesses. These often in troubled home environments contribute to long-lasting emotional instability that surfaces later in life.
So whether it be it at the hands of others or a cruel twist of fate, I vow that everything I do will somehow help children and young people.
Most recently, my fiancée, Sarah, and I have devoted our time to volunteering with multiple children’s charities, leaving a profound impact on both of us. In 2021, we welcomed our first child, which refocused our priorities on his happiness and health. Like many parents, the birth of our little boy changed our perspective on life. It motivated us to provide the best possible life for our family.
Deeply passionate
The memories of coming across children facing various challenges and the first-hand witnessing of tragic circumstances rooted in early childhood trauma have inspired us in multiple ways. We are deeply passionate about contributing to the betterment of children’s lives through partnering with Nacoa.
We own a company called Claritee, which specialises in alcohol-free events and wellbeing for the corporate industry. We take great pride in having Nacoa as our official charity partner. It has been a privilege to build relationships with the Nacoa team and their ambassadors. We are determined to raise as much funds and awareness as possible to continue their life-changing work.
